The Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears (OSIB) once again offered the Estius Simfònics concert series at the Castell de Bellver in Palma, in Mallorca. The main lyrical event of the program was the performance of Lucia di Lammermoor in concert version. Pablo Mielgo, musical director of the group, leaded the reading of Donizetti's popular score, with a cast led by Zuzana Marková in the role of Lucia and the Spanish tenor Celso Albelo in the role of Edgardo. The leading trio of the drama was completed by the baritone Gabriele Viviani as Enrico and the tenor Antoni Lliteres as Lord Arturo. The Choir of the University of the Balearic Islands also participated in the performance.
With the centuries-old walls of the castle, Pedro presented the idea of converting the castle in a inmersive stage for the opera representation just with lighting. No scenary was used, something no one would expect for an opera representation.
