One of the best lighting designer's tools are the lighting previsualisers. The ability of producing a virtual 3d environment with a virtual lighting rig of accurate lighting fixture models, opens many windows for lighting designers. Apart from connecting a real lighting console to the visualiser and programm the lighting show without the need of building the real rig beforehand to do this work, it allows to produce accurate visualitzations of the lighting effects to visualise the designer's work to the client.
